Allogeneic CAR-NK cells refer to off-the-shelf universal cell drugs prepared in large scale by engineering NK cells from allogeneic healthy donors with NK specific CAR construct. Allogeneic CAR-NK cells do not cause graft-versus-host disease and can therefore be used in an allogeneic manner; since they do not secrete inflammatory factors (such as IL1 and IL6), they generally do not induce cytokine storm and are safe for clinical application. They can be prepared using cord blood, peripheral blood, or iPSC-induced NK cells.
